Design

Danish design is documented, promoted and branded nationally and internationally by the Danish Design Centre. The centre works through activities concerning the possibilities and benefits of using design.

The activities include:

  • Conferences
  • Seminars and workshops
  • Exhibitions
  • Lectures and presentations
  • Studies and analyses
  • www.ddc.dk
  • Master cases

The overall purpose is to contribute actively to value creation in Denmark and to ensure that Danish design remains a strong brand in Denmark and abroad.

Every year, the Danish Design Centre presents eight large and six smaller exhibitions featuring Danish and international design. The exhibitions aim to provide information and spark debate and help define the Danish Design Centre's profile to the business sector and the general public.

Danish Design Centre is located in the heart of Copenhagen in a building designed by architect Henning Larsen. The building houses exhibitions, a café, a shop and conference facilities.
